How to Study with Gleim's FAA Test Prep CD-Rom

1. Do NOT study questions to memorize the answers! Instead, answer questions under exam conditions for these benefits: * Understand and learn from your mistakes before you take the knowledge test. * Build your proficiency to 80%+ before you take your actual exam.

2. For each study unit: 1. The first step is to read and study the outline for study unit one. You can access the outlines by selecting the desired library from the Outlines menu. 2. Once you have read and studied the outline, create and complete a study session of all questions in the study unit.

3. After grading the session, review the outline material that relates to the questions that you missed. You can evaluate which subunits you need to work on by using the summary information in the performance analysis.

4. When you are done reviewing, create and complete a test session of all questions in the study unit.

5. After you have graded your test session, create a study session based on the questions you missed in the test session. To quickly create this study session, click on the create a new study session from questions answered incorrectly link in the grade report section of the performance analysis.

6. If an 80% or higher score is achieved on the test session, move on to the next study unit. Your score for the session will be displayed on the grade report section of the performance analysis.

7. When the last study unit is complete, take a standard FAA test to prepare for your actual knowledge test.

When 80% or higher is achieved on the standard FAA test, take and pass the actual FAA knowledge test ASAP.
