INFO
Pocket sized brushed aluminum model of ASA's Standard E6B
ASA's E6-B features a wind component grid and comprehensive crosswind correction chart, and on the other side the slide computes time, speed, distance, altitude, true airspeed, and density altitude problems, as well as conversions.
Nautical and statute scales are included.
E6-B computers are used for the following functions:
- Time/Speed/Distance computations
- Conversions to True Airspeed
- Variation Scales: Magnetic Courses
- Most computers also have Nautical/ Statute miles for use with WAC and Sectional Charts
- Time and Distance to Radio Station calculations
- Compressibility Corrections to True Courses
- Fuel Consumption calculations
- Off-Course and Drift corrections
- Enroute Wind Problems
- Mach Number calculations
- Slide Rule Mathematics
- Wind Components
- True Altitude conversions
- Dead Reckoning and Wind Effect
- Fahrenheit to Centigrade conversions
- Wind Triangle Solutions
- Statute/Nautical, Nautical/Statute conversions
- Flight Planning Wind Problems
